The results are as follows:
Total Eligible to Vote at 11:02am: 171
Less Abstain Votes: 4
Vote was out of: 167

CARRIED / CONSTITUTION ADOPTED
We have retained all records of the EGM.
Now that we have an approved Constitution, the next steps are below. Much of this work will be done concurrently:
Send out the Draft Model Constitution to all Full Members.
Register Version 118 of the Constitution with the Incorporated Society Registrar. Send out to all Members.
Commence the process of supporting Member Associations in the development and
registration of their own Constitutions.
Commence the process that was agreed to whereby suggested amendments to v118 are called for and workshop through a collaborative process for consideration at the AGM in Oct 25.
The development of the strategy to build on the basis provided by the new Constitution to map the pathway forward to the AGM and beyond. This could possibly include a combined Board and Forum event.
I want to thank my team at National Office for working so hard to deliver a professional EGM. It took a lot of effort and many hours of work to navigate the many changes. Your dedication meant we had a good event. I am proud of your commitment."
